Bottleneck freezers
Bottleneck freezers are oenological instruments designed for the production of sparkling wines and champagnes using the classic method (champenoise). Freezing takes place before the degorging operation.
It is a refrigeration apparatus that is brought to approximately 30 degrees below zero by means of propylene glycol. When the neck of the inverted bottle is immersed in it, the wine freezes and attracts the sediment. At this point the bottle can be turned upside down and 'degorged' before being permanently corked with the mushroom stopper and cage.
We produce freezers for bottle necks from 3 places upwards.
