An article suitable for cold pressing in the processing of grapes, apples, pomegranates, berries, fruit in general and some vegetables, in order to quickly and easily obtain wine, juice, cider and more.
In some regions it is also used for the special preparation of certain vegetables to be stored in jars.
The PEW40 model is the ideal compromise between the PEW20 and PEW80: its internal capacity reaches 40 litres and does not require electricity or any kind of physical effort: the water that is introduced inside a natural rubber membrane causes it to swell and consequently squeeze the fruit against the walls of a perforated cage.
Thanks also to a supplied cloth filter that prevents the holes from becoming clogged, the liquids produced flow out evenly. Any splashes during processing are contained by the supplied bag. In this way, the natural, physical, nutritional and antioxidant characteristics and properties of the fruit remain unaltered.
The cage and all internal parts are made of stainless steel, while the lid and base are made of strong and resistant aluminium, treated to make it suitable for contact with foodstuffs. The pressure assembly is protected by a safety valve set at 3 bar.
